Hi, I’m Velinda! I am an Administrative Assistant at Prairie View. I have worked here for 7 years now. My past experience includes 30 years in the Medical Field working in clinical settings from Medical Records/Clerical, Customer Service/Business Office, Insurance Billing, Software Teaching/Support to Administrative Duties, Activity Planning and Kitchen/Food Service & Sanitation. What I love most about working at Prairie View is the that it’s a small, personable facility where our residents always feel like family. My hobbies include amature photography, crafting, scrapbooking, traveling and being with my grandchildren. One last comment – I tell our residents all the time that they are like my own grandparents and I enjoy each and every day that I get to spend time with them!
